Yesterday, the first Bitcoin wallet app was released in the App Store for iOS after Apple’s recent policy change.

This new Bitcoin wallet app is called Coin Pocket. Coin Pocket allows you to send and receive Bitcoin using it. Coin Pocket also claims to be easy to use, allow you to scan QR codes to make payments, be reliable by using HTML5 offline cache and rely on multiple sources to communicate with the blockchain, and is open source under the MIT license.

Before Apple’s policy change, the only type of cryptocurrency apps available in the App Store were ones that allowed you to monitor the amount in an address, or a cryptocurrency to fiat currency value calculator.

You can download Coin Pocket here. You can find Coin Pocket’s source on GitHub here.
